GENESIS MOTORS CANADA REPORTS NEW ANNUAL SALES RECORD

Markham, Ont. (January 3, 2025) – Today, Genesis Motors Canada reports its best annual sales in the brand’s 8-year history in Canada, with its 31 Distributors across the country selling 7,040 units in 2024, an increase of 6.4 per cent versus CY2023.

The award-winning Genesis GV70 SUV has been the brand’s best-seller in Canada consecutively since arriving to market in the second half of 2021, with 1,522 sales in its debut year. Four years later, the GV70 – set for a redesign in CY2025 – recorded sales of 4,048 in 2024, representing YoY growth of 30.1 per cent. The GV80 SUV also posted a YoY gain, with 1,187 deliveries, up 6.1 per cent versus 2023. The G70 sedan continues to be a core model for Genesis in Canada, with annual sales of 818.
